New: Vincent has been updated to MC 1.2.5. New: XP farms are no longer disabled on Vincent. New: Both servers now have network tweaks to completely prevent block lag and reduce latency issues. New: A New York mirror of the servers can now be accessed, which may provide substantial latency improvements for a small number of people (particularly Hawaiians). Access these mirrors by connecting to ny.na.vincent.sk89q.com:10000 and ny.na.alice.sk89q.com:10000 rather than the regular addresses. The need for port 10000 is temporary and the need will be removed in the near future. Changed: The temporary addresses no longer work; use vincent.sk89q.com and alice.sk89q.com as normal.
New York Mirror appears to be down from my end, but a ping shows latency reduced to 256ms from ~380ms. EDIT: Actually, just the Alice mirror is down for me. Vincent Mirror appears to help with blocks reappearing.
If you get 256ms, it really is 256+115ms, which is 371ms. Blocks shouldn't reappear though, mirror or not. On which server are blocks re-appearing on?

Win for me, I live in New York! Pedo Bears, no wonder the password is always BABIES EDIT: Servers moved, but you have to wait for your DNS to update. What does that mean? EDIT2: I forgot :10000 But now its stuck at Logging In Internal Exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
371ms is still better than my 380ms average (although that's probably not taking into account internal processing on the proxy) They were reappearing on Alice from time-to-time and occasionally on Vincent, but not permanently. The reappearing appeared (<-- lol) to happen more consistently together, rather than randomly. But the mirror appears to stop this, however I do notice that it takes longer for items to drop when mining.
