    Hi!

Some months ago I wrote my very own Android application (the 2nd one) and I would like to share it with you guys. It's a, if not the first and only, tag-based audio player. Android versions 4.1+ (16) are supported and it's free.
I want to know what you like or dislike and what can be improved or added:) There already is a lot on the TODO-list, but maybe there are still some good ideas out there I could implement.

Have fun! I hope someone enjoys it and that this post is not inappropriate in any way.

Looks sick, man, especially for a second app! Congratz!
I have a question, have you thought looking into cross-platform development ?

Thank you! Was more like a fun project. I'm 19 and doing this in my free time.

Sadly no, the app is being developed in Android Studio using Java. Also, I don't own an iPhone or Windows Phone.

    Not EnderPhone and E-Mobile compatible.

Path has an iPhone, rather than #ANDROIDMASTERRACE, so, yeah.

Heh, you can only develop for iPhone on a Mac, so you'd need at least a Macbook if you wanted to make it an iPhone app. But there's no reason for a music player app for iPhone anyway, it has iTunes and that's actually pretty good.

The player is nice, by the way. Personally I don't have a need for it though since it's tag-based. I mostly listen to full albums, so the only features I care about are 1) equalizer, 2) system folder view, 3) playlists.

You don't *NEED* a mac as you can install OSX on most modern intel hardware anyways. But I am sure there might be a few legal issues once you started to release an app for revenue income :p

Also, if I'm correct, you'd have to pay for the license to develop apps, which is another $100 or so...

You can develop, but Mac signs the apps upon the compilation. That signature it puts can't be artificilly made with a non OSX platform, that includes the hardware Apple has put in the Mac laptops/iMacs/or whatever and the software.

Also you can't publish apps without them being signed from an official OSX platform.

You realise that there is complete emulation of apple hardware right? Even down to the small details.

Yeah, I just said you can only develop for iPhone on a Mac in the context of doing it the legal way, and actually planning to publish it. If there's a barrier, there's a workaround.

Possibly. Haven't read into it in such detail.
