As of this morning I cannot launch the game. The launcher loads up fine and dandy, so i click on "Alice 1.7" - Launch. The game begins to load and almost immediatly crashes and sends me back to the launcher with only 3 lines of code in the log: -- The game is running. Please wait. Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch Process ended with code: 1 -- Any help is appreciated, Thankyou for your time. This error is as of 23/09/2014, and has begun after the patch for Alice 1.7 ___ Running Alice 1.7 Windows 7 / AMD 7790 2GB (GPU) / Quad Core CPU / 8gb Ram (6gb dedicated on Launcher)
@Talons did that a few times too :\ it seems like for some reason it just cant launch Minecraft to begin with before it even starts to load any mods. Im running it as admin and with a firewall exception. Yet it still wont start.
This has something to do with the virusscan, atleast on my part. Tells me it's dangerous and stuff bla bla fraud bla bla stuff. Upon further investigating it's actually blocking the download of the launchwrapper .jar file.
Sorry for the doublepost, but deleting the entire skcraft folder (under documents) and reinstalling it from scratch seems to fix it, just make sure your antivirus doesn't report the launchwrapper link.
