    derp up i just forgot a few other big mods like build craft and MFR oh well hope no one likes those mods.

    It's a toss up between Thermal Expansion and Applied Energistics. I like them both, but I went TE because I've liked it longer.

    AE all the way. I refuse to play modpacks which don't contain it. For me it's the absolute end-all for storage and autocrafting, something I very much desire - I'm the type of player who works hard so he can be lazy later.

    Agreed. With AE, storage is so compact I can store >1000 chests' worth of items in 2 blocks, and organizedly.

    My fav mod is te its just a fundemental technical mod. like what do you use ot transfer items? not build craft crap or transfer pipes you use itemducts. te all the way baby

    I do love me the RedPower mod. Not a fan of the Exploration component though; it has little integration with other mods. You can't do much with Marble, the colored trees don't autofarm correctly, etc.

    But the circuits. Delicious.

    I loved the pipes too. Easily my favorite pipe/item transfer system of all time.

    Yo Applied Energistics, I know you're a really good storage and transport system, and imma let you finish, but RedPower had the greatest transport system of all time. Of all time.

    inb4 thread drowns in RP2 nostalgia

    Edit: Everything I ever did with RP I can also do with itemducts and AE, but it's not as fun. If I had to choose between AE and RP2 I'd still take AE though.

    Didn't RP2 suffer from confusing and difficult-to-diagnose backups of items stuck in the pipes?
