    Can some one please tell me how to change my permagen settings because i crash often because of it and cant figure out how to change it i know im a PC NOOB.

    When you start the launcher, before you start any modpack you go to options. Permgen is down at the bottom.

    ok thanks what setting would you recommend for me? i have 3gb ram and ask me for other specs about pc currently i doubled my permagen. but tell me if thats to much and will hurt my PC. thanks :)

    I tried 512 for a while, and then lowered it to 256. That seems to be working out well for me.
