I got this error while trying to run Alice: 2014-04-06 14:48:42 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/MISSING_ICON_ITEM_15245_openblocks.stencil.png 2014-04-06 14:48:42 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/planks.png 2014-04-06 14:48:42 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/MISSING_ICON_TILE_2138_null.png 2014-04-06 14:48:42 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/MISSING_ICON_TILE_4056_null_side.png 2014-04-06 14:48:42 [SEVERE] [Minecraft-Client] Using missing texture, unable to load: minecraft:textures/blocks/MISSING_ICON_TILE_3705_extratrees.block.machine.png # # There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue. # Native memory allocation (malloc) failed to allocate 32756 bytes for ChunkPool::allocate # An error report file with more information is saved as: # E:\Documents and Settings\John Doe\My Documents\SKCraft Launcher\instances\Alice 1.6 Deux\minecraft\hs_err_pid1984.log java.lang.OutOfMemoryError java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Process ended with code: 1 I set the PermGen to 256. JVM arguments: -XXermSize=32m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m I have Java 7. Windows XP. The runtime Parameters are: -Xmx768m Any Ideas?
768mb is not enough memory allocated to java for SKCraft to run. I skim by barely with 1024mb on a bare bones linux install, 2048mb is best.
I have increased the allocated memory to 2048. And I have 3.5 gigs of RAM. I also run a 32-bit. It still gave the same error when I ran it.
I have a kinda same problem. I have a 16GB ram, with 64-bit. Allocating 2GB gives a heap error, and allocating 1GB gives outOfMemory on almost the same place. (1,8 also gives outOfMemory)
Try updating to Java 8. However, a lot of our 32-bit users have had trouble running the recent modpacks because it simply uses more memory than a combination of 32-bit Windows and 32-bit Java can provide. You probably have 32-bit Java installed rather than 64-bit Java. If you do have 64-bit Java, then manually set the path to 64-bit Java in the launcher.
For me it is up and working on 2GB now, now I must look into some Mekanism things that aren't installed. Thanks!
If you get errors about missing multiparts, you probably launched the wrong pack (Legacy). Try the one without Legacy if you didn't already.
