At the University the only way to get an activated division sigil is with an inactive one. They cannot be crafted, and I had not heard of anyone finding one yet, and nobody had. I took a look at the config and the spawning of division sigils in chests is disabled, so at the moment they are currently unobtainable. I don't really even want the sigil either, what I really am looking for is the builder's wand.
A step beyond this concern with the division sigil.. I do not think we can even use it if we were to get one. They can only be used in vanilla crafting tables to prevent exploits, but the XACT mod we have replaces vanilla crafting tables, so I do not believe we would be able to craft unstable ingots at all with a division sigil.
That is an interesting point. I may want to test this. The sigil is also supposed to be sold at spawn if I recall, but I suppose that hasn't been set up yet.
=/ bought one, won't craft in any table I have tried, from "vanilla" to all the handheld/tcon ones. BUT, I could craft the semi-stable nuggets and get a semi-stable ingot that way, so I got my builders wand, it just cost me 9 diamonds instead of one =P
