Unfortunately, I am having the same problem. It has nothing to do with my computer specifications. I had just passed around 5000 blocks north when my client crashed. I have been unable to join the server since. I can get to the logging in stage, but as soon as I join Greenwell the game has issues.
I don't think he's even getting to the logging in stage, at the end of the log Java's already bitching about out of memory, and I don't see this Spoiler 2014-03-03 20:11:18 [INFO] [STDOUT] Initializing LWJGL OpenAL 2014-03-03 20:11:18 [INFO] [STDOUT] (The LWJGL binding of OpenAL. Minecraft crash report: http://pastebin.com/Cn1CSayt SK89Q's startup log: http://pastebin.com/cTm7iSYh EDIT: I should say that the startup log is only partial, starting about halfway through due to the massive size and no online pasting sites wanting to accept it.
Go to single player, turn off entities radar for VoxelMap, and return. Slimes apparently crash the map.
Try going into single player and disabling the entity radar for the minimap. Similar problem shown here: http://www.skcraft.com/threads/i-crash-upon-joining-the-server.3009/#post-27966 EDIT: Doh, 2 seconds late. No matter, same solution
Go into single player, open the minimap menu with "M", and there should be something like "Radar...". Click that, then click Radar: ON to change it to OFF.
