There are hard mode recipes for the portal guns, but for me what would be of concern is the "shooting the moon" aspect.
Carpenter's Blocks and Chisel make sure someone checks the Marble from chisel in Carpenter's blocks. This tanked our server, but other than that it worked fine.
Also Extra utility's uses emeralds to make retrieval nodes could we possibly set it to use peridot or something more common

Hehe TerrafirmaCraft could be nice. At some point i wonder if Alice could bear a "biome o plenty" main world and another kind of world as mining world. Anyway : Rotarycraft sounds like a nice and complete machine mod that could replace even ic2/gt. But i'm afraid of the extra cpu comsumption to detect blocks around each machine for the mechanical power management. Big Reactor may be a "one tier further" for thermal expansion power source, but seems too easy, and maybe a tps whore too (on the other hand it can limits the usual boilers spam!)
3 things make me excited (giggity) tinkers construct, dartcraft, and veinminer? wouldnt that kill the servver whats its radius is it all blocks or just ores????
Another config is block picking up, after trying to on another server, and failing, I believe that it is possible to disable the most "griefy" part of the mod.
Can't wait to try some of the new mods. Would be cool if magic crops could be added aswell. It's not that OP as it is pretty time consuming to get the weak essence. Also ATG with BoP is pretty awesome and realistic. And atomic science looks cool.

I picked the top fifteen that I thought had a chance to get booted off the list, but I thought had Real potential. They are in order of most wanted/helpful to least. I think these will add real variation and different play styles to Alice, for those who don't want to play strictly industrial.
Is the Battletowers (13) still the big 6 level structures with 2 spawners on each level (=12 spawners in one chunk)? that seems a big mobgrinder, is that a good idea as we couldnt even move spawners before?
treecapitator is not even updated any more i don't think plus we have tree farms and if i remember correctly it causes some major server lag or maybe it was client lag
