It's honestly going to be on a case by case basis. As for moving mere materials over, if it's materials that you have collected and we decide to 'transfer them', we wouldn't transfer a chest of them -- we'd just spawn the items on the new world.
Okay. Sensible. So may I have permission to transfer Reinforced Stone/Stone over, to build my walls with? We're talking ~190k Stone, ~144k Reinforced Stone.
So here comes question .. if somebody (like our groop) have big underground complex with fusion at top decide to make new building from idk iridium blocks it will not be transfered to new world right ? (darn weeks hunting for fusion are gone XD) If not would be possible dump blocks into chests which would be transfered?

What about our TC4 research alot of us have spent hours researching and making kami items. Will those be transfered ?
I think that if the update for TC goes forward, I don't think so. Actually I don't think so either way if it gets updated or not, it's a new world anyways.
Pretty doubtful, as we're not transferring over inventories or anything besides buildings. Map reset, everyone will be on equal footing. TC 4.1 actually looks a bit easier with research, as minigame is a bit easier as well.

We're keeping buildings. That's about it. And maybe rudimentary non-machine useful building materials. S:
I wouldn't expect anything of real value the goal is to keep builds, not resources I'd think anything like lighting (candels lamps ect.) but that's just speculation on my part. If it was up to me I'd delete all items from chests and let people keep them. I know I have one chest that I placed for looks but I can just punch a tree to replace it.

The only thing I am concerned about is red wool and large/small glowstone bricks, mostly the small glowstone bricks and the wool, as they are the most time consuming to get. I have machines that I don't wish to move and the build will change depending on surrounding terrain, If I could just get the materials for these 3 blocks I would be ok with that, hell I would be fine with just the wool. -1796 134 +4404 Please disregard. New changes in TC will let me get the wool I need easier, and that was the only thing I was really concerned about.
Will the new map use the same seed at the current one? I would like to setup my new base at the same spot I setup my current one.
