Alice has been updated with a new modpack and a new world! We invite you to login and play. In order to play, you will have to update your launcher. Join the same address that you have always used. Please report any problems that you have with either the modpack, the quests, or the launcher by posting on this thread. Thank you! Some places at spawn are still under construction. Please bear with us. Use the following map to navigate around spawn:
Yuppi, it's very very and very very good, it's mega very good. We like your launcher, We like your server, We like your plugins. Thank you very mutch for your work. Can We helping you?
I've been inactive lately, not enough time to play on skcraft, it's very time consuming. I'll try to get back to it. Very good job with the whole storyline and scenery, SKCraft's work will always be amazing.
Community programming, sounds like a recipe for disaster! There is a mod pack team that setup the mods we now use, but if we have people send in programs/plugins/mods, it's going to take quite a while to ensure there is no hidden malicious code (considering the amount of code, the amount of people sending programs, and how fast SK reads through them all).
If it was a rather big project I'd imagine sk asking for it to use a VCS to be able to easily track code changes, this of course does not eliminate the chances of someone adding malicious code, it just makes it much easier. I personally wouldn't look at it as a disaster as long as the developers don't take it offensively if their project does not get accepted.
I think I can help with the programs. I know java medium, ruby above medium (but not rails). If necessary I can work with other programming languages
Hello Sk , and all the other team members and Players.... Missing you guys atm But I've tried every possible thing to get in and It's just a no go. Punk spent and Hour or more in teamviewer trying to adjust my Old toaster to push the launcher to let me play ... With help from Tonious and a few others .... Sadly We accepted the fact I may be left behind in the past ....... the part that weirded me out was I tried to do this at work On a Laptop that is less than 2 years old and actually rather powerful ( it meets all the required specs...) yet I have the same exact problem with the launcher as i did at home... While I understand your desire to provide the best server possible, I can't help but feel mildly saddened I won't be able to help My fellow team / village? Friends create an area. I'm not the Most Important member of our team, but I do consider myself a valuable one as I have no issue doing a lot of the Grunt work and General design layouts for our area... I'll miss you guys ... but should the launcher become More retro toaster friendly please have Punk Or Zoomer give me a holler So I can join in the fun ....... I mean What would our area be without a strip club ?
MUCH love Path If you could... I've been so sad about this i haven't even played Star trek Online Or left for Dead2... ( and the sad part is I'd probably just come in harress flutter and make a dirt house .......) even Crying strippers and double fistfuls of Taco's have lost their appeal........... Le Sad face

Hi. I'm attempting to run the .jar launcher on a Mac, but every time it gets stuck on the title screen. After I force close the Minecraft window, I get this message in the console. Here's the entire log: http://pastebin.com/xibdv0NL I've tried using the Mac app as well, but I keep receiving a message saying that the file is corrupt and should be trashed. I re-downloaded it a few times and nothing changed.
8GB RAM I think. How exactly can I check how much is free? (I really should know how to do this. Sorry.)
See http://macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/qt/os-x-memory-usage.htm Maybe make a screenshot and post it.
Sorry to budge into the conversation between you two...but I've been having the same problem (trying to run the new Alice on Mac). The only difference is that it does not say (unless I forcefully terminate it): It simply gets stuck (freezes) on the lines: Answering the same questions you had for RandomGal: Total of 8GB ram, tested with 2-3GB RAM for SKCraft, still had ~2GB RAM unused.
