    RedIO:
This is the mod I want the most. It adds a block called the RedIO for use with LAN networks and that you can wrap the peripheral and have it output a redstone signal (you can even specify the strength!). It saves having another computer in place of it waiting for a lan message to output a redstone signal that when on its own, won't cause too much lag. But, imagine 10-30 computers in place of RedIOs all waiting for a signal to output redstone. This is why the author of the peripheral created it. This is also much better than Rednet cables their limited to only 16 colors, you can go beyond the logic of the Redbus Controller, and have direct input from a computer. Control your entire base over LAN!

    Kilobyte's Peripherals:
I haven't tried what else this mod adds but the main thing it does add is MFR Rednet Cable interaction with computers. Basically rs.setBundledOutput (and get) but for MFR as you can set the output to any number.

BioLock (if we don't have this already):
This mod only adds 1 block that functions very similar to the MiscPeripherals Player Detector which is currently bugged atm afaik. It also looks prettier and has built-in support for access levels making for some cool security systems.

Added to my testing build. Will respond in about decision after testing.

But They do look awesome, I always like CC peripherals and seeing just how much they add and accomplish.

Yey! Also, is SG Craft being considered? I assume it needs no intro :p

    Eh.

I look into it, but don't hold you breath seeing as it's basically a teleport mod in a nutshell.

That's what I thought too, but it has a good degree of balance (better than enderpearls).

We did discuss Enhanced Portals, and that mod is a bit similar to SG Craft. SK said that adding that mod would basically be the same as enabling linking books, so I think we won't be adding it.

Have you guys actually tried out SGCraft? Enhanced Portals requires no fuel at all (and neither do Linkbooks which we have now afaik) while SGCraft requires an enormous amount of fuel to keep running. Our current TP system is basically free since it runs on Linkbooks, Enderpearls (which are continuously farmed), and let's not forget those Teleporters which require basically nothing to run. It should also be mentioned that SGCraft would *potentially* reduce lag since 1 Stargate can replace all the Teleporters in one's base (think Glitch's) and cut down on the size of a power grid.

Considering where everyone is at this point in time, IC2 teleporters are basically free while Stargates add a new rare ore that needs to be found just to create one and to keep that Stargate functioning. Infact, It could be argued that Stargates are more power expensive than IC2/Gregtech Teleporters.

Gk is right. I tested it out on my MultiMC instance for a short period of time, and from what I can see, it's definitely is more expensive to run with the resources the mod itself adds. And considering other ways we have to teleport, it's a much cooler and more expensive way to go about things. Especially with peoples state on the server, it would be another thing for end-gamers to play with.

And we really don't have linkbooks, we have predefined ones, but can't actually make them :p. Not to mention that 1.5 will break existing linkbooks.

I don't mean to necro an old post, but I see that this has been accepted, yet it was never added. I definitely have a use for these peripherals GK listed in the first post, and was just wondering on the status of this request. Was it forgotten, or abandoned?

We have had too many issues with CC addons. Also this discussion was before 1.5, and 1.6 is on the way, so kind of irrelevant now. Possible for 1.6, depends on if they update/still add functionality.
