Recently, it has become apparent that the ticks per second of the server have reduced drastically. This is due to the lack of optimization within the Factorization mod. As much as we regret the High CPU usage that the routers are causing means that the crafting is going to be disabled and those still in existence shall have their operations slowed/stopped . As a result of this we expect to see the ticks per second to rise to almost double what it is currently running at so you get a much smoother, seamless time whilst on the server.

This is set to happen on 14th June 2013, so you that you have time to configure your current systems around this change.

Please feel free to voice your opinions/objections and possible solutions on the below in this thread.

    Sorry for the Inconvenience.

Yeah Check if it gets fixed in 1.5, and possibly could we have them removed Monday? That way weekend warriors have a chance.

You don't need a refund recipe. It's not resource intensive.

when you have made like 10 of them each requiring 3 iron blocks each only to have them removed ... i feel cheated.

You feel cheated for making 10 routers, each of which cost 6 dark iron. Remember that you get 2 dark iron blocks for 3 iron blocks, all you're losing is 81 iron, which is no large amount by any stretch of the imagination.

Is there a difrent way to add frames to alviarys?
With out routers the only thing that I know that works
Is A. E. Input busses I would have to relocate a lot of
Alviarys and add 200 inport busses.
7 Routers only operated for short time to import frames.

    Export buses*

Apart from routers, yeah AE export buses work as well as tubes but Idk about BC pipes. And also 1.5.2 hoppers work with them I'm pretty sure, so it could be another way to automate inputting frames into alvearies.

Tubes should work, as would pipes (though I wouldn't recommend). You could reasonably easily set up an export bus to a Tubestuff buffer and RP2 filter combo and hook that with tubes.

I think I'd like a refund on the iron from all the upgrades and stuff that goes with routers.

I will personally refund all iron that was used on routers. Only the iron and I expect everyone to be honest.

dark iron blocks are 3 iron blocks in a crafting table each router/upgrade uses 4 dark iron, with the exctpion of the machine and item filters which use gold silver and diamonds personally I'd like the gold silver and diamonds from the filters, but I'd take just the diamonds or gold.

1 dark iron block makes 4 dark iron ingots

You could also ask that people save and show your the upgrades/routers

Why not just setup a trade for routers/upgrades --> iron?

It's crap like this which kills the server. Do you honestly need 200 of any machine? 7 routers from you, 10 from others... sigh.

That's why routers killed the server, not because they exist but because people make moronically large systems of hundreds of machines/engines/whatevers. You could probably have gotten by with just one. If just a handful of people had used 1 instead of 10 I bet we'd not be here today.
