OR use logistics pipes... if they are installed, of course- I am a noob as I dont know if its installed. anyway, you would have iron saws being made, then the equal amount of blocks (512) to uses and satellite pipe for crafting recipe.
then have another table for handsaws then use supplier pipes to keep a recycler system supplied.... advanced and automated enough? oh and you can add quarries to the system too (hook quarry up to dia chest, and put provider pipe on it).also, as long as oyu dont leave it running it shouldnt overflow......

    No.
2 10x overclocked recyclers will eat that up in 15 minutes.

Dude what, we don't even have logistic pipes until the next update.

ahh ok, but still could be useful in next update anyway. also, I mentioned QUARRIES (to supply stuff for chopping), a ton of iron and wood prestored (to craft more saws) and they automatically do the piping for crafting and stuff... problem is each pipe is ridiculously expensive- diamond pipe and gold gears, redstone torches and some other expensive stuff... and thats basic pipes (and you will need a few for joint of more than 2 possible directions). THEN you use basic pipes and more expensive stuff to make provider (to stick to chest on quarry), craft pipe and a satellite pipe... then you have the iron and the quarry itself. but for automatic recyclers made 32 times more effective, its worth it... oh and you could also set up a nifty system to take ores seperate them and process them... and make iron for more iron handsaws so its a bit more self-sustaining. also, why would you NEED so much scrap anyway? other than UU matter making its pointless.unless you want tons of cake. they are made alot from scrap boxes but UU is better... but the logistics pipes can keep it supplies pretty easily by instead of request pipe to get the scrap to a chassi Mk 1 pipe (NOT anything else) and a passive supplier module set to keep a stack of scrap in the bottom slot. that way you can easily have it work due to the fact you can choose which side it would need to come into via to put the stuff in- which I think is a bit easier than making a ton of stuff for a normal supplier pipe and its more efficient anyway as it requests automatically. and if you put basic pipes correctly (when >2 connections present on non-logistic pipe) it will work at same rate exactly as scrap is used by a mass fab. also, I think you should try deleting the other posts and editing them into just one post I think... 4 posts in less than an a day!

    tl;dr

EDIT: Finally read some, and you STILL do not explain how to make the autocrafting tables use damaged saws...you would have to manually replace the saw with the more used saw. I don't see how logistic pipes can fix that honestly. So the only way to automate it would be to keep creating one use saws...great.
Also, what the hell does a quarry have to do with anything? You can just use a cobblegen you know.
Eloraam really needs to add unbreakable saws...maybe requiring 4 diamond blocks?

    To automate it:
Make a shitton of the panel corners and put them into a shitton of crystal chests, then wait for teh scrap to roll in.

He means automating the panel-making process... Did you even read what he wrote?

also crystal chests are same as diamond but more laggy. so just use diamond ones would you?
oh, and I mentioned a satellite pipe going to a chest next to the table. it sends it into the chets and has 512 uses- so you make 512 cobble plus iron saw to satellite ID (whatever your sat pipe's id is) will make 1024 coble slabs. SIMPLE. just use normal crafting pipe for saw making and then do it again and again until you have one for each thing down to corner, then you just make a supplier pipe and stick it onto the recycler and make it supply one stack of corners. POW- cobble will start being made into corners and fed into the recycler. have I explained enough yet? if not then jsut watch a vid of direwolf on youtube. oh and it will automatically request 64 corners and no more than that at any one time, so no overflows. dont EVER set the required amount above 64 otherwise you get leaked to death.

I finally found out how to do this with lg's help. I still have to set up an auto sawmaking factory, and this is basically the same as using cobble but in more amounts at a time. Thanks for the idea though I guess.

Thanks for the input, but I won't read that until 1.3

Could someone test this? I remember it working with logipipes when i tried to make silicon wafers.

gknova have you even read what I posted earlier on? oh and autosaws are WAY easier than the cutting. and cheaper, log pipes are expensive... dia pipe, 2 gold gears, 2 red torches and 4 glass... and that BASIC ones. then you have to add more stuff (2 redstone for sat pipe, 2 glowstone for craft pipe, etc etc etc) to get pipes for a network of them. also, dont forget to add basic pipes at every junction with more than 1 choice of direction otherwise you will have stuff going pell-mell everywhere. that includes next to chests when stuff can go straight on- otherwise your stuff will go into a chest.

I did not, as I can barely follow your posts half the time. Cost doesn't really matter to me :p

Back from the dead, this thread needs to be updated for the noobs! I'll start
-Visit the NPCs at spawn for cool things like computers!
-Use Igneous Extruders instead of Block Breakers for your cobblegens
-Make your timers > 5sec where you can. It'll reduce server-client lag drastically

People need to learn to setup bores with RedPower computers, in fact it should be required or you get a boot to the head.

    Oo
Not gonna happen because you can't arse people to learn mods... everyone plays how they want to ...
I don't see the pro of a rp comp powered bore compared to one powered by a timer.

Just for the record, computercraft is better and easier then RP2 computers.

The only reasons that i know of to use a (CC)computer, is so you can make sure it doesn't go for thousands of blocks without you noticing, sure it maybe a good thing, but it's good to have control.

o_O Mad said pro as in good reasons to do so, not as in like a professional. But even with that change, I myself would be more inclined to run my frame bore using a logic system as opposed to using a computer.

    Yes, I know that :p

Look at what I quoted. I'm just questioning his logic.

Some people don't have the intention to be pro - they just want to get it done.
