After the last Alice update, the server seems to be sending a substantially larger number of packets to people, and when the given connection between the server and a user cannot handle it, the common experience is overall lag and eventual forceful disconnection. I am looking into the cause of the increased bandwidth usage.
It's strange, cause I only noticed this today, i logged on and for the first 10 minutes everything was fine, but after that my connection had gotten horrible that I had to go to spawn just to make sure I was D/C'ed. But at least You can rule out anything before the update.
I am using two different computers in two different locations, as well as a couple of accounts, happening on every combination of the three, my friend who also lives in San Diego and fairly close does not have this problem... Although this is 6 mb/s below my subscription, can someone explain to me what part of the connection would be doing this if not the bandwidth?
