First has to do with quarries, and I am not saying this as a bug report, but to let other people know that unless you stay with your quarry it will totally mess up and you will have to re set the whole thing. It reverts to the default size as soon as it unloads, and the frames are missing parts all around. I know that SK has already acknowledged the chunk loading issue, and that is the root of this error. The second is energy storage. I took an MFE to the mining world and for the life of me could not get the GUI to open, I heard others having the same issue with other energy storage devices. I used a wrench to orient it, and the block did not update its position visually, I even tried placing a block next to it, did not help, but it seemed like the MFE was pointing in the correct direction and was actually working normally. I also had an odd ghost electric engine as well. I placed it and all I saw was the hitbox, again block updates did not help. I relogged (well crashed a couple minutes later) and when I logged back on the engine was back in my inventory. I have a feeling that was a one off event, but it may not be considering the MFE incident.
Having the quarry issue, would it help if we just used the default size? But yes it is really annoying... This is also happening even when I use a world anchor, and the quarry does not go out of it's own loading boundaries or that of the anchor. Has Sk fixed anchors yet btw?
About the issue regard the MFE, that problem seems to exist with all machines from IC2 itself (Canning machine, electric furnace, ect ect). The funny thing is that it does not effect any machines that were added as addons to IC2 like adjusable electric engine, A.E.S.U and also solars, from what I've seen.
Find proof for what you say before you say it. Cause I'm pretty sure that is bs, js. But that would be really sad if true.
IC2 works, just not completely, I need ic2 for quarries and powering my AE system that collects from my quarries. Also being unable to adjust an adjustable engine is kinda frustrating, it is added by the transformers mod, so it is not IC2 per se.
Yeah I've dealt with the IC2 energy problem before, best advice, either use a large solar array and fast electrical engines, or make redstone energy cells, as they store up MJ needed for quarries, and can be placed anywhere without need of more solar panels or engines.
Redstone energy cells are the best way anyways for a quarry in my opinion. also i think it's somehow good, that the mfe isn't "opining" in the mining world. just imagine some smart-feeling decides to set his base there...<.<.
