    And that 512x texture pack is poop like most other 512x texture packs..

    The maximum size of a texture pack that fits in well is mostly 128 if not 64, having a game full of cubes with weird realistic textures just looks bad.

    That's the thing, like ali said. In a game that's made of blocks, what's the use of having realistic textures?, sure it might improve the look for some people. But in my opinion, vanilla should stay vanilla, and not made realistic.

    In my opinion, realistic textures suck. They literally make me vomit. That's why when i use texture packs i try and stay towards faithful, or if i need a change from default, I use sphax

    Yeah, I changed it actually, to the best HD texture pack that worth taking the HD version!
    (I'm referring to Sphax: taking the 512x version is really useless compared to the 128x, it doesn't add any thing really).

    So I took Minecraft Enhanced!

    Personally, I love Minecraft Enhanced, it's a really good texture pack, for me it's better than Soartex!
