About me, I was saying: Keep the 2nd amendement, as long as it doesn't make more crimes than in other countries! If it doesn't disturb anyone, then don't remove it. If it begins to become a problem, then instantly remove it. As far as I know, there aren't more crimes, so keep it!
Because reality does not function like your idealized utopia. You take the guns away from those who follow the law, and the only people who will have guns will be those who don't give a shit about the law. This is how it ACTUALLY HAPPENS, in places like Chicago and DC, both places with hugely restrictive gun laws, incredible amounts of gun control, and yet have huge numbers of homicides committed with a firearm.

Just because some criminal breaks the law and kills someone doesn't mean you should therefore be allowed to disarm the 200m+ Americans who own a gun just to keep them "from killing someone". Those who want to cause harm, will find a way to cause harm. The Sandy Hook event took place the same week as an event in China, where a man with a knife killed 22 people. With a knife. Are you going to take the knives away? Cars cause vastly more harm than guns do, to far, far more people. Are you going to take the cars away? Why is it that you want to take guns away, which by and large don't actually result in all that much death when compared to everything in the United States that kills people? P.S. Punch him in the face? Where are your arguments, where are your objective, reality-based suggestions and analysis? You can't handle him, so you threaten him with physical violence? Should we lock you away in a cell for the rest of your life so that you can't cause anyone any harm? Like the guns you so despise?

Ok. Why don't you want to save the people who get shot by assault rifles? Also, in other countries, like germany, where we don't give guns out to about anyone like big murica does, we don't have so many shootings. Of course we have some, but not nearly as many as you do (because, imo, your country is fucked up...), not even if you compare the size of our countries. I'd say you even have more than whole europe has, and we, the EU, have clearly better gun control.

The main argument in the gun control fuss is to limit assault rifles and large capacity magazines. No matter what Fox News spews at you. Lets be good conservatives and do as we are told. Darn, we are not honoring the 4th amendment well. Nor the 6th or 8th. The entire reason that america is having problems is the fact that the conservatives hold to the beliefs from 200+ year ago. Times change and our laws should reflect that. Hearing people complain about this is the same as the slave owners crying about abolitionism. Hopefully in 50 years all of the old bags with have died and the spread of their beliefs onto the current upcoming generation that accepts gay marriage will be minimal. Maybe then we can catch up to the rest of the world. Personally I think that guns should be harder to obtain. Much harder. Such as a license would be in every other "First World" country on the planet.
