REDPOWER UPDATED!!!

    Just in case you didn't notice, RP2 has updated to 1.4.6!!! but she says she is willing to release a 1.4.5 version if not many mods update to 1.4.6. But you all probably knew this ;)

    All mods that we're going to use are updated to 1.4.6 - there's about 10 small mods (like Invtweaks) on my list that haven't been updated just yet but we can live without it for now. At this point, it's just up to the admins. Did they even work out a spawn or the bukkit --> forge thing?

    Additionally, Redpower still has quite a few minor to critical bugs like not being able to set bus ids on forth computers and their peripherals. There's also a few dupe bugs that I won't mention here for obvious reasons ;)

    You can just listen to the podcast to find out. but no, it came down to protection for spawn and plugins as such and sk said if no one ports worldguard to forge he'll do it himself. But that's all i remember, blame my bad memory.

    So there are really good news for Alice, I will join back the servers when it'll update, I hope it will do soon!
    The port of bukkit plugins to Forge is possible, but have you ever tried typing "/plugins" in game ? Can we port that amount of plugins ? So many features will disappear with the port of Alice to Forge, it's just a choice (because we can live without it), but there could be a debate on it...

    PS: As Vincent is in 1.4.2, and as Alice will directly port to 1.4.6...
    For the first time, Alice will be more up-to-date than Vincent!

    For one. Why the **** do you act like people are stupid? of course i've typed /plugins ingame. And it is possible to port that many plugins since none of them are really big.

    When it comes to losing the features, I for one wouldn't mind, I've been playing on regular modded servers and to be honest i wouldn't really care if most if not all the features would disappear (just so long as there was an easy feature to get home).

    How would expect me to port them without having the files themselves?

    I did listen to the podcast - the mods to perform basic server administration are already there, including WE. I doubt someone will port WG just because of different protection mods already being there. If I recall correctly, sk doesn't wana port it.

    Yeah well we guessed that much. But at least he said if no one ported it, he would do it himself, that's gotta be a plus?
    I was talking about all the small plugins/modifications that sk added when you do /plugins
