You mean the time an idea ? I am right, it is perceived the way of an idea to me, it doesn't really exists, but just try to prove me what exists... I tried to prove myself was alive... I failed...
Not the wrong thread this time, just me tired... PLEASE PARDON ME TEXASGAMER, I LOVE YOUR WORK !!! <3
This Mod would be for Alice (1.3.2) when it updates Mod name: Extra Biomes Mod Mod description in your words: It would add more biomes Why do you want it: Because it would add different blocks to the world for decorations in different biomes Why would it be useful to the server: Decoration/Aesthetics Is it ModloaderMP or MP compatible: Yes, it uses Minecraft Forge Also Mod link: Forum Link Please Consider this! This would be a great addition
I think you should reconsider adding Equivalent Exchange. It's a great mod by all measurable means except one: the conversion of items into other items is seriously overpowered. I feel required to say that i have not been accepted into the game, so my knowledge of the server is inadequate, but i think that in a industrial server items should not be obtainable if you don't get them one by one. I have listed a few reasons why this would detract from the server: -Lower EMC items, as well as items that are commonly created with EE would no longer have a market. The most notable items that would feel this effect are diamonds, metals, wood, food not added by HarvestCraft, and anything with an EMC of 1. -Enchanted items would lose their value, as they would no longer be lost if the player using it has Covalence Dust. Chanced are if you have an enchanted item you have Covalence Dust. -items such as the destruction catalyst and the evertide amulet are powerful grefing tools and are hard to control. Even if they are blocked from demolishing protected areas the "keep things looking nice" rules would be almost impossible to enforce. -Almost everything in the mod is just about as OP as creative mode. Red Matter tools, energy condensers, the ability to fly and repair tools, and the ability to get a double chest full of diamonds in a week are just a few of the immense list of reasons why this mod is overpowered. -The last thing i would like to list is the general feel of the server as i see it so far. At the present time, if you want more of an item you make a factory for it. Mods like BuildCraft and RedPower are designed so you have to think a bit on how you make your factories. if you want lots of steak, you still have to make mob spawning pads or instead make an automated wheat farm as your food supply. If you want a lot of stone, the best way to do it is to place a quarry on top of a Cobblestone Generator. If Equivalent Exchange is added, people who want steak of cobblestone just have to have an energy condencer and some form of EMC supply. In this way above all, your industrial server would be an economical disaster. I was planning to make a large hostile mob grinder and a squid machine, but i guess all i'll have to do is make an energy condenser and kill a few mobs along the way so i get one of each drop. Also, i apologize if i got some facts about the Alice server totally wrong. Like i said, i haven't been accepted yet.
I would LOVE to see this mod added! The only problem i can foresee is gather bulk amounts of clay and damaging the environment. I think some rules must be added to prevent leaving holes in the bottom of the ocean, or you could just sell clay in a shop. You could also only use the mod in a sort of arena and prevent the crafting of clay soldiers, but this wouldn't be as fun. If Equivalent Exchange is added, clay will be no problem... but also worthless. A good compromise would be to require players to gather bulk clay via Industrial craft's secret clay recipe (see http://technicpack.wikia.com/wiki/Secrets)
There is a more advanced mod called Nuclear Control, which works like thermometer but are in the form of blocks. this allows you to use redpower or computer craft to make a nuclear reactor automatically shut off when to hot, and turn on again when cooled. This mod is included in the technic pack and Tekkit by the way.
I'm know this is pretty harsh and I might get a warning for this but i feel its appropriate for a new person like you. 1. Shut up 2. **** off 3. Learn to read some other posts , like about EE. Its not been added again for a specific reason, and sk has made that clear. 4. Get accepted and play on the server before you start posting such bull**** 5. Never mention the Tekkit/techinc pach here. 6. Do some more research before you you decide to post stuff like about nuclear control already being on the server and why EE hasn't been added again. 7. Have a nice day (you can do the first 2 in no particular order.)
Was it really necessary to be so hard on him? I mean, he was at least keeping his comments civil. And he literally just joined yesterday - he's at most only had the time to look at the feature list of Alice, and he's suddenly expected to know the contents of threads and comments that were made, what, 8 months ago? And do enlighten me on why we aren't allowed to discuss Tekkit? You know, because a new person like me doesn't know what the controversy's about. Alice shares so many mods in common with Tekkit that the comparison is bound to come up some time.
Yes it was. And he joined on Wednesday so that's incorrect for me. If he had time to type out a really long post about EE, then he has time to do a little more research on most of the stuff he quoted and posted about "what, 8 months ago?" like the thermometer post. on most of the stuff he quoted and posted about "what, 8 months ago?" like the thermometer post and about EE?, Yes. Tekkit in most senses is still illegal as most of the mods in it are used with out consent from the developers, so thats why i think its better not to talk about it fullstop. But i guess the skcraft launcher isn't much different. And sorry? you're a new person?, whats next, You'll tell us you're a 58year old woman?
Fair point(s). I still think you could have gotten your points across without rubbing them into his face with a cheese grater, though. Also:
