It is an very overpowered mod that does not have any cost for using the items. So it would most likely never be on the server. End Of story.
the ic2 teleporter is as "fair" a tp system u'll get on this server. it consumes power while tp-ing. if u can find something that costs resources, maaaaybe not as much as THAT tp system, then maaaaybe.. and im talkin bout tp cost EACH time, not startup costs.
Its ironic because about 30 minutes after i made that post, iChun told me on irc that portal gun was going to have a configurable fuel source, OH THE IRONY.
Turtles just got fuel sources too but I don't see them enabled And it's not going to have one. It *has* one

(Off topic) Killing Endermen is easy, just put a lava bucket at their feet, count to four, take up the lava before it spreads, and then kill them. Simple. (On topic) So, would it just be something where you leave a portal on one wall, and just have it on your hot bar, and place a portal if you, say fall in lava, so you will teleport to the first portal? That does seem a bit too powerful. Maybe you could make it so that portals have a limited range (say, 50-100 blocks) and when you are more than 50 blocks distant, your portals get erased and portals will no longer stick to blocks.
